Sketches

The first set of drawings I made while waiting for my eldest son to arrive.

I had been awake most nights leading up to it, so I started drawing these illustrations as I counted down the final days.

Wasara

Birds

Walking in Amsterdam I found a really nice disposable plates done by Wasara. I thought it would be a good idea to use them as a canvas for illustrating with ink.

This one is the first serie of illustrations done in Wasara plates. I used traditional pens and black ink.

Characters living in the back of my brain; they show up without warning and begin to inhabit my mind. Wild characters who refuse to be quiet. Once I give them form, they escape my head and move onto the paper, claiming their own space in the real world.
